Castel Saint Angel, a medieval
fortress built over the first century
mausoleum of Hadrian. Here the popes

a setting that is both beautiful and
fascinating.

beautiful baroque fountains by Bernini.
Here you can have a brief break for
lunch (Italian restaurant or pizzeria),

can have a gelato (the Italian ice
cream) !
- The Pantheon, the best conserved
temple of the ancient Rome, dating back
the second century, with its incredible
huge dome with a hole in the middle.
- Saint Ignazio, a beautiful
Baroque church, whose ceiling is an
optical illusion created by a master of
perspective, Andrea Pozzo. This will
astonish the whole family.
- The Trevi Fountain, where everybody
following the tradition can enjoy
throwing a coin in the water that will
guarantee a future return to Rome.
Close to the Trevi fountain there is a
specific attraction for children: the
Time Elevator that describes 3000 years
of Roman history, from Romulus and Remus
to the present, in an entertaining and
educational format. The show lasts for
45 minutes and it is quite popular

On
this tour, you
will visit the fascinating ruins of
Hadrian's imperial
villa,
built in the early 2nd century as a
retreat from Rome for the Emperor. It
was a complex of over thirty buildings,
including palaces, thermes, a theatre,
temples, libraries, state rooms and
quarters for praetorians and slaves,
covering an area of at least one square
kilometer. The different shapes and
architectures are told to be inspired by
the many trips of the emperor.

restaurant or pizzeria, the tour will
continue to the Renaissance gardens of
the
Villa d'Este,
